Texas favorites will be performing live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. The outdoor series begins Saturday, April 25th with the music of John Arthur Martinez.

| WOW Picnic Road Trip • Jul 3-5 | | Alamosa Wine Cellars, Bend, TX - Join the Way Out Wineries over the Fourth of July weekend at the annual Picnic Road Trip. Each winery will pair a selected wine with a picnic tidbit in addition to their regular tasting. And, each ticket holder will pick up a piece of an eight piece wine accessory set at each winery to complete the set. For tickets and more information go to www.wayoutwineries.org. Hill Country wineries participating are Alamosa Wine Cellars, Pillar Bluff Vineyards and Texas Legato Vineyards. | Fall Creek Vineyards Burgers and Blues Independence Celebrat • Jul 4 | | Tow, TX - If you are in the mood for a different kind of Texas two-step, then head out to Fall Creek Vineyards “Burgers ‘n Blues” Independence Day Celebration, Saturday, July 4th, 11:00am – 5:00pm, for a chance to enjoy a pairing of some fine Texas wine, hearty Texas burgers and live Hill Country blues. The event is free, but grilled plate lunches are available with advance reservation at $19 for adults and $14 for children by calling 325/379-5361. The adult menu includes scrumptious food from Hat Creek Burger Company in Austin, with your choice of a double or single sizzling Angus beef burger with all of the fixins', chips, fresh fruit, and a cookie (souvenir wine glass and tasting included). | Family Day at Spicewood Vineyards • Jul 4 | | Spicewood Vineyards, Spicewood, Texas - The tasting room opens as usual at 10.00 a.m. but from 1.00 p.m. until 5.00 p.m. we are having our Family Day Celebration. We will have free hot dogs on the grill and ice cream for everyone. There will be child/parent games and a horseshoes tournament for anyone who wants to enter. Elway - our awesome Vineyard Canine - is challenging all of his friends to persuade their owners' to deck them out in a patriotic costume and there will be a prize at the end of the day for the most patriotically dressed dog. What good would a 4th of July celebration be without some new wine? During our Family Day celebration we will be releasing our 2007 Zinfandel (commonly known as America's Wine) and our 2008 Riesling. Come on by for a free taste of our two newest releases. We will be displaying our new labels and logos for the first time so get out to the vineyard and check out our new look! Linger a while on our patios with a glass of wine and listen to singer songwriter Casey serenade you but it will all end at 5.00 p.m. so that everyone can make their way to their favorite fireworks spot. |

| Kiolbassa and Kabernet at Pedernales Cellars • Sep 19 | | Pedernales Cellars in Stonewall - Bring Summer to an end, and welcome the Autumn, with the 290 Wine Trail at Pedernales Cellars. A big favorite of the trails, come and experience the last weekend of the Summer with Kiolbassa and Kabernet. This will be the last of the 290 Wine Trails until next year, and this one you do not want to miss. Stay the day with us on our oak-covered overlooking the beautiful Hill Country.
